Writers’ Bloc
Please join us for our next gathering
– the Writers’ Bloc meets the first
and third Thursday of the month at
10 am. We meet in the Horizon
Center Game Room and usually
dismiss before noon. All writers in
our community, whether seasoned or
just starting out, are welcome to
attend. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your work, receive
feedback, and connect with others
who share a passion for writing.
There are no club dues. Your passion
for writing and the time you put into
your craft are “dues” on a different
level. Please bring a piece to share
or come ready to listen to creative
writings from other members. Each
month a member presents a “writer’s
craft” which assists with our skills of
putting together a story. We also
have FUN “writing prompts” provided
for the next time we meet. These
prompts assist us in creating a story
if we do not already have one on the
back burner of our inventive mind.
Our writing for each session is
limited to 1,000 words or less, so we
have time for all stories. We look
forward to meeting you and sharing
the craft of writing.
