chartered clubs
are just a few of the many June
events. It is time for growing things.
Your mind is a garden and your
thoughts are seeds. You can grow
flowers or weeds and reading will
fertilize that glorious mind. Since
school is out for the summer and the
kids need to spend more time
reading, your example will help instill
their love of books forever.
Check out the wonderful Discussion
Group where members and guests
may attend monthly meetings for
interesting and enlightening discussions of fiction novels. New members
are always welcome.
The group meets in the Game-Room
the second Friday of each month.
Normally we have an optional 10 am
social half-hour and at 10:30 am club
updates. But this month the semiannual membership meeting will be
held at 10 am. Our book discussion
will follow the meeting which
features The Jackal’s Mistress by
Chris Bohjalian on June 12th and
James by Percival Everett on July
10th.
Please note that the non-fiction
division of the club has been
disbanded.

The month of June is upon us, and
we have two important Holidays to
honor.
June 14 is Flag Day ... Let us put out
those American Flags with honor
and pride.
Father’s Day is June 21 ... We need
to go back in time, and laugh at
some of those hilarious moments
spent with that wonderful person.
We would like to welcome all of our
new Residents to our wonderful
Community.
