Fountain Singers
Summer is winding down even though
the hot days of Florida remain. In
preparation for the spring concert,
members are anticipating the music
choices for the Woman’s Chorus as
other groups continue to practice
several pieces they are considering.
Singing every day, even to your
favorite songs on the radio (do people
still listen to the radio?), or Pandora
and Spotify can keep your voice in
good shape. More importantly,
singing will help your brain and
emotions stay on the positive side.

Fountain Woodcarvers
If you have ever wanted to be creative
and have fun at the same time, you
should join the Fountain Woodcarvers
every Tuesday morning from 8 – 11 am
in the Horizon Center. We have
mostly novices and a few experienced
carvers, and all would be happy to
teach, share their experiences, and
show you how to create memorable
woodwork that you can pass down to
your grandchildren. To start with,
knives and cutting tools are available,
as well as wood soft enough to keep

Terrarium of your own. Terrariums are
miniature indoor gardens beautifully
enclosed within glass containers.
These self-sustaining ecosystems

take up minimal space and are very
